She's also a RITA award-winning author of both historical romance and contemporary women's fiction. Most of Kleypas' novels have been published in 14 different languages. Kleypas is an alumnus of Wellesley College. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She became Miss Massachusetts in 1985.
