Fashionista Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

walking on the runway
for all to see
with nothing to say
who is she...

bearing a designer name
draped and hung
upo
n a human frame...
beautiful and young

a picture perfect pose
with no expression inside
displaying voguish clothes
only the affluent can buy

striding down the sidewalk
wearing a T-shirt and jeans
free from eyes trained to gawk
liberated from the glamor scene
