On the third of July 2018, me and my family travel to Penang by car. The drive from Putrajaya to Penang took us 4 hours 37 minutes. We reached Penang around 1700 hrs. At Penang, we stayed at Muntri Mews Hotel. Muntri Mews is a very lovely place to stay if you travel to Penang. I would highly recommend this place for those who wish or plan to travel to Penang. On our first day, we only rest at our hotel, jalan2  at Jalan Kapitan Keling, and have dinner at Restoran Kapitan. I had nan-cheese tandoori. Sedap-licious! You MUST dine at Resotran Kapitan and try the nans if you visit Penang. Selain itu, kami uga sempat bergambar depan Masjid Kapitan Keling. It is a very beautiful mosque.

On our third day in Penang, we visited TeddyVille Museum. TeddyVille Museum is a new attraction in Penang. It is located at the ground floor of Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Batu Ferringhi, Penang. The museum is very interesting and it is definitely a MUST visit spot if you travel to Penang (especially if you are a teddy bear lover/collector like me ^_^). The museum tells a story of teddy bear history and the history if Penang. Besides history, the museum also provides good customer service, and the gift shop is a nice place to shop for souvenirs and teddy stuffs. Kalo singgah kat gift shop jgn la lupa beli Mr Beary. Mr Beary is the cute brown teddy bear and the mascot of TeddyVilleMuseum. Mr Beary is a small size teddy, and he is handmade. This TeddyVille Museum is awesome and beary shiok! It is much better than the one I've visited in Jeju before.

After we are done with TeddyVille, we went to Craft Batik to shop for batik items. We also drive to Balik Pulau. The drive to Balik Pulau is so green and serene. After we are done with Balik Pulau, we went to Komtar Penang. Komtar is an old shopping mall, but it has now been developed into a hot spot mall with lotsa attractions (just like Taipei 101). One of the famous attractions is The Top. The Top is a viewing deck that is located on the 65 floor/ the highest floor of Komtar mall. At The Top you can get spectacular view of the whole Georgetown city. The Top is also a MUST visit spot in Penang. If you are an adventure seeker and not afraid of highs, try la the  Gravityz walk. Hehehe!

Day 4/06/07.2018 - Bye Bye Penang/ Hello Alor Setar

Inilah dia, Mr Beary (the bear i bought from TeddyVille Museum Penang). He was saying goodbye to Penang in this picture to tavel to Alor Setar with us.

The first Milo Ice Kepal i tasted in Kangar Perlis. Thank you Uncle Azmi and family. This milo is delicious :P

On our second day in Alor Setar, we visited Aman Central Mall. Aman Central is quite huge and a happening mall. Not bad for Alor Setar eyh. We were also lucky becoz Kedah Fashion Week was happening at the mall that time. We were given free pass by the event organizer. So we got the chance to watch the show live. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! dah lame saya x tengok fashion show live. Not bad juga fashion show nyer. During the fashion week, I also met some famous Malaysian fashion designers. One of them also stayed at the same hotel we stayed. But unfortunately most of them are sombong and muka ketat :( I don't understand why glamour have to be arrogant. Duh!

After we are done with Kedah Fashion Week and Aman Central Mall, we drive to Kangar, Perlis to visit a family friend. The drive from Alor Setar to Kangar is very green, breathtaking, and serene. We got to see a lot of spectacular kampung scenery. Lovely! However, kami tidak bermalam di Kangar. After we visited Uncle Azmi's family and have seafood dinner with them, we drive back to Alor Setar.

Korean Festival at Ipoh Parade Mall

At Ipoh, Perak, we stayed at Weil Hotel. Weil Hotel is a new hotel situated in the city centre of Ipoh. Unlike Penang, Ipoh is also an uptown city. Weil Hotel is next to Ipoh Parade Mall. After checking in and had lil rest, we went to the mall just to bersiar2 and have fun. Ipoh Parade Mall is quite urban. There was a Korean Festival at Ipoh Parade Mall during our visit. Most Korean products - food, cosmetic, and etc are on sale.

After we checked out of Weil Hotel, we visited Malaysia Animation Park Studios (MAPS). Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAPS is a new theme park yg bertemakan animation (local and international). It was created in a joint venture project between Perak Corporation Berhad and Sanderson Group. MAPS was opened to public during June 2017. The park was new and not may people have visit it yet. So we are an early adapters. Hehehe! I read about MAPS before it was open and wished to visit the place. Syukur Alhamdulillah my wish came true. Syukur rezeki ^_^

The park provides visitors with lotsa thrill rides and attractions such as trick art museum, Smurf theatre, BoboiBoy 4D adventure, stunt show, and etc. However, MAPS is not fully opened yet. The Dream Zone (more thrill rides there i think) is still not open to public yet. Besides rides and attractions, MAPS also have good cafes to dine at such as the Tok Aba Kopitiam, and also souvenir shops to bring home some memorabilia. Hehehe!

At 1800 hrs, we left MAPS and say goodbye to Ipoh. It was also the last day our of north adventure. Syukur Alhamdulillah our adventure in the north was awesome. We had fun. We reached Putrjaya nearly 2200 hrs. We were tired but happy ^_^
