Six Reasons Why I Love City Vacation

did you know that there are different types of vacation? There are city, beach, nature, and countryside vacations. As a traveler, I love city vacation the most. In this post, I would like to share with you six reasons why I love city vacation. Here are the reasons...
1) It's Easy and Convenient

I always find the city easier and more convenient compared to other places. In the city, it is always easy to find public transport. I don't need to rent a car in the city. Plus, some places are connected to each other. This makes my travel easier. In the city, it is also easy to find convenient stores (like 7 Eleven, and Family Mart). Convenient stores are everywhere in the city. I believe convenient stores are important for travelers.
2) It's A Good Place To Experience And Learn New Cultures

I am a culture lover. I love to experience and learn a new culture every time I travel (especially when I travel to a foreign country). I believe the city is the best place to experience and learn about a country's culture.
3) I Love Visiting Museums, Art Galleries, and Historical Landmarks

As a culture and history lover, I love visiting museums, art galleries, and historical landmarks. I believe London, Tokyo, and Seoul has the best museums, art galleries, and historical landmarks.
4) I Love Looking At Traditional Old Buildings
Winter 2006 in Lisbon, Portugal
I'm not an architect or architecture graduate like my BFF -Raden Syuhaidah. But I do love looking at old traditional buildings. I believe traditional buildings are a country's trademark and signature.
5) I Love Looking At Skyscrapers
Spring 2014 in Shanghai
Besides old buildings, skyscrapers are also beautiful to look at. Looking at skyscrapers give me a cheerful feeling.
6) I Love Looking At Colorful Lights
Autumn 2018 in Osaka, Japan
Like I always mention in most of my posts before, I love cities at night. I think cities are beautiful at night. Ever since I was a little girl, I love and enjoy looking at colorful lights in cities. Colorful lights give me a cheerful feeling. To me, the most beautiful city at night is Seoul, South Korea.
So these are the six reasons why I love city vacation. For those who know me, I know it is kinda weird that a city girl like me ( I live and grow up in the city) prefers city vacation more than other types of vacation. I also love nature and countryside vacation, but city vacation will always be the no.1 choice for me.

ReplyDeleteosaka paling BBL suka.. first time pergi sana bulan Mei 2019 memang terus jatuh hati. bila travel area bandar ni memang mencabar sikit terutama bab public transport. paling penting kena banyak tanya local kalu tak sesak jalan.. hahaha

ReplyDeletei pun sokong apa yang ue cakap tu. kadang nak juga back to nature and also nak juga bercuti dalam bandar but dalam bandar kena tahan mental sikit dengan kesesakkan.

DeleteWhen I travel alone I prefer city travel because of the same reasons plus I like to be near places to get groceries etc. My wife prefers beaches and some of those are very remote.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same opinion. I also like places that are convenient. That’s why I always choose hotels/accommodations that are near to 7 Eleven or Family Mart.
