Miss me? I just got back from Bangkok vacation. How are you guys doing? Are you guys enjoying your December? 

Okay...... the post I am sharing now is a Makeup Tag Challenge. This tag challenge was created by at Philipino-American beauty blogger name Mari The Illustrious. Mari is also the person who tagged me for this challenge. The Makeup Tag Challenge requires me to answer some simple questions and share my thoughts on makeup. It is fun and flirtatious. Plus, makeup is a fun topic to talk about. At the end of the challenge, I am required to tag 7-10 bloggers. For those of you who haven't visit Mari's page, here's the link Mari The Illustrious 


Now let's begin with the questions............

How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

28 years old. Hahaha......... I know I am a little too old when I first learn about makeup. I am not really a makeup person. Plus, I only wear light makeup. I just do BB cream, concealer, lipstick, and browcara.


How did you get into makeup?

When I was working at JPM. My seniors introduced makeup to me. I was already an officer/office worker at that time, so I think it is time for me to add some glitz to my natural beauty. Ehehehe...........


What are some of your favorite brands?

1) Laneige
2) Innisfree
3) Etude House
4) Faceshop
5) Nita Cosmetic

I prefer Korean and Malaysian brands because most of them are organic.


What does makeup mean to you?

Just an addition to my natural beauty. But it is also fun, flirtatious, and artistic.


If you could only wear four products on your face, what would they be?

1) Laneige concealer
2) Innisfree Eco Natural Green Tea BB Cream
3) Innisfree Browcara
4) Lipstick (any brand and any color that suits the outfit I am wearing - I mix and match my lipstick with my outfit. That's my style ;) )

But before I do my makeup, I always make sure I wear the six skincare steps - cleanser, toner, ampoule, emulsion, tone-up cream, and sunblock.



What is your favorite thing about makeup?

Although I am not a makeup person, I do believe makeup brings wonder to every woman's face. Makeup enhances a woman's natural beauty and makes the person more glowing. To me, makeup also requires artistic skills. It's not easy to be a good makeup artist.


What do you think of drugstore vs high-end makeup?

Both are ok. It's just that high-end makeup gives status/class to the wearer.


What is the one makeup trend you’ve never understood?

I don't fancy dark-bold color eye shadows. They are not suitable for my oriental-cat-like eyes. But I have to admit, some girls look good in it.

    This is my first time reading a makeup version of these posts. Very interesting answers. Personally, I've always loved makeup from teenage years but it was usually lightly applied.

      Good for you, you were introduced to makeup during your teenage years. I have 0 knowledge on makeup when I was a teenager. That’s why I look like teenage dirtbag when I was a teenager. Hehehe.

    so far sekarang i jarang guna makeup sebab mostly banyak stay kat rumah. once keluar jalan2 baru pakai makeup.

      Same lah kita. I kekdgn kuar pun x pakai makeup. Just put skincare and sunblock lol. It depends on situations. Hehehe.

    Makeup... hurmmm antara perkara yang agak wajib bagi seorang wanita kot . Suka gak makeup sebab kalau tak makeup rasa pucat je muka cuma suka yang lite je. Kecuali dinner, kita touchup lebih sikit. ehhehe

    Aida x pandai make up. Just lipstik & celak. Lucky me bcoz pekerjaan x memerlukan make up.
    Kalau tetiba ada event ofis, member la yg bantu make up kan muka hi hi...

    i kurang bermekap.tapi i jenis mesti pakai lipstik dan bedak muka.. kalau rajin baru pakai eyeliner..and fav brand etude house salah satunya

    Sis bab makeup2 ni main buat je..janji sesuai dgn muka dan event yg nak pergi. Mula makeup pun lps kerja..now dh start malas balik nak makeup. Produk apa2 pun boleh pakai janji sesuai dgn kulit

    Solekan mampu menyerlahkan lagi kecantikan semula jadi seseorang itu tapi awaa orang cantik kadang kala tak perlu make up tebal sebab mungkin bole memburukkan dia lagi.. so dia kena guna make up yang nipis sahaja atau pun sekadar pakai lipstick.

    Wow, u started to do make up at the age 28. Which is great coz nowadays even 11 years old dah start mintak parents belikan makeup.

      Huhuhu....... during my teenage years my mother never allow me to wear makeup. Btw, I am grateful with that. Becoz Kalo muda2 Dah makeup2 nanti cepat tua taw.

    I saw that most of your fav makeup brands is from Korea. Same with me, i love Korean skincare and makeups as well. They're good in quality, but the price is very affordable.
