SELF-IMPROMENT PRACTICE: Be Your Own Girl- Crush Or Man-Crush

four months ago, I read one of my international fellow bloggers - Hannah Bassett's post. In the post, Basset shared a self-improvement practice or tips that she is currently doing. The practice is called "Be Your Own Girl/Man Crush". A girl or man crush does not mean a person that you are in love with. A girl or man crush means a person that you admire, respect, and idolize. Your crush can be a celebrity, politician, fictional character, family member, relative, friend or colleague that you admire.
This self-improvement practice is very simple to follow. This practice is a collation of behaviors that your favorite person does that makes you admire them. For this practice, all you need to do is list down at least 10 good things that your ultimate girl or man-crush does. For girls, list down all the good things that your girl crush does. For guys, list down all the good things that your man crush does. This list is a guide to help you become the person that you desire to be.
In this post, I am gonna share with you 17 things that my girl crush does that makes me admire her a lot. So here it is........
My Ultimate Girl Crush

1) Grew up in a poor family and had a hard childhood. Even her journey to success wasn't an easy one. But she is courageous, hard-working and never gives up on her dreams.
2) She is now very successful in her field (it is all because of her courage, patience, and hard work).
3) She is passionate and committed to her work.
4) She has a heart-of-gold. She loves doing charities since she is now a successful person. She is now known as the "donation-goddess" of South Korea.
5) She is a grateful person and learned a lot from her past.
6) She treats her weaknesses as one of her motivations to improve herself as a human being. She is a very humble lady.
7) She is a beautiful person inside and outside.
8) She is loved, admired, adored, and highly respected by her fellow colleagues, people in the same field, and fans.
9) She is very elegant inside and outside. She dresses elegantly and is very polite.
10) She is artistic, creative, imaginative.
11) She is honest. She tells almost everything about her past, hard life in her works.
12) She appreciates everyone who loves her.
13) She roots for her friends, and those with the same passion and dreams.
14) She is very ladylike and looks dainty from outside. But she is courageous in the inside (that is an alpha woman).
15) She loves to smile. She has a beautiful and sincere smile that melts everyone's heart.
16) Her beauty is adored by both men and women.
17) She is admired by most good, intelligent, and handsome men (this is what I want for myself too. Hehehe).
So these are the 17 things my girl crush does that makes me admire her. These are also the 17 things I want myself to be. Trying to make ourselves the person we want to be isn't that easy, because it always comes with challenges. But I believe this practice will help me and you to achieve our goal. This practice allows us to determine what is admirable and worthy of respect. The list we write will help us to identify what we want for ourselves so that we can start to become the person we want to be.
So now you know how the practice is like, you can now start this practice. Try it! List down all the things that you like about your favorite person (you can write it on your blog, journal, notebook, or a piece of paper and pin it on your wall). Then start implementing these things in yourself and become your own girl/man crush today. Let's make this one of our 2020 resolutions.
