My Top 5 Favorite Ji Chang Wook Characters In His Dramas




Ji Chang Wook (JCW) is now one of the hottest Hallyu heartthrobs and kings of K-dramas. He is one of my favorite Asian actors. So in this post, I would like to share with you guys my top 5 favorite Ji Chang Wook characters in his dramas. 

So let's not waste time and get started. We shall begin with no.5 to no.1.



#5 Noh Ji Wook (Suspicious Partner)

In this rom-com drama, JCW plays a prosecutor named Noh Ji Wook. Noh Ji Wook is handsome, hard-headed, intelligent, and hard-working. He is a perfect example of what a prosecutor should be. I like Noh Ji Wook's character. I think he is cute and has the quality of a perfect boyfriend. But at the same time, I have to be honest that I don't fancy his chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun. Sorry, JiJi shippers. Just my opinion ^_^



#4  Seo Jung Hoo (Healer)

In this romance thriller drama, JCW plays Seo Jung Hoo, an illegal night courier who is also known as "Healer". As a secret spy, Jung Hoo is equipped with sophisticated spy gadgets, a sidekick hacker, and superb fighting skills. I believe Jung Hoo's character is every girls' dream guy. Handsome, intelligent, and manly. The way JCW channels Jung Hoo/Healer proves that he is a Marvel Superhero material. MCU, if you're reading this post, I think it's high time you guys do your homework on JCW. He will be a perfect addition to the Avengers team.



#3  Choi Dae Hyun (Backstreet Rookie)

JCW proves that he is a versatile actor after channeling Choi Dae Hyun in his latest drama, Backstreet Rookie. Choi Dae Hyun is different from most characters JCW played before. In Backstreet Rookie, Dae Hyun is a convenience store owner with a tall and hunky appearance that makes women swoon. But at the same time, Dae Hyun is also clumsy, a hopeless romantic, and always a looser. He is also a kind-hearted guy who sympathizes with almost everyone he meets, and that makes some people take advantage of him. 

However, I like Dae Hyun's character. To me, Dae Hyun is a down-to-earth kinda dude. I like Dae Hyun's life goal. He just wants to be happy. And to Dae Hyun, being happy is not about being rich and have all the luxuries in life. Being happy is about being able to do more of the things that you like and spend your days with the person you love. I'm happy Dae Hyun gets what he wants in the final episode. 



#2 Kim Je Ha (The K2)

In The K2, JCW plays Kim Je Ha. Je Ha is the male protagonist in The K2. He is a secret agent for JSS Security. Before becoming a secret agent, Je Ha was a South Korean military operative in Iraq. He then became a fugitive after being framed for murder. As a secret agent, Je Ha is assigned to take care of politician and president candidate- Jang Se Joon's daughter, Go Anna (Im Yoona). He later falls in love with Anna.

In my opinion, Kim Je Ha is another male character that most girls love to droll over. He is handsome, intelligent, manly, and has superb fighting skills. Je Ha is Asian's answer to James Bond. Besides Kim Je Ha's character, I also like JCW's chemistry with Im Yoona. I would like to see them as an on-screen couple again. I think JCW and Im Yoona are the most beautiful on-screen couple in K-dramas.


#1 Baek Dong Soo (Warrior Baek Dong Soo)

Warrior Baek Dong Soo is one of the earliest K-drama that I followed. Warrior Baek Dong Soo is also the drama that makes me discover JCW. Yep, this is the first JCW's drama that I watched. 

In this 2011 period drama, JCW plays Baek Dong Soo, the male protagonist. Baek Dong Soo is not just a fictional character. Baek Dong Soo is also a historical figure in Korean History. Baek Dong Soo is one of the best swordsmen in Joseon. He was also the man who created the martial arts guide in Joseon.

I like the way JCW channels Baek Dong Soo. He makes the character very lively and cute. In the drama, Baek Dong Soo is portrayed as a super cool and carefree warrior. I also like JCW's bromance with actor Yoo Seoung Ho -he played Yeo Woon, the anthogonist in Warrior Baek Dong Soo.

    I memang layan semua drama JCW. First time kenal masa tengok Healer. Yes, terus big fan. Saya dah tengok Suspicious Minds, Empress Ki, The K2. Dia mmg handsome sgt lah, and sgt pandai martial arts. Berbakat dlm lakonan. Memang terbaik.

      Fun......ramai yg suka tengok JCW in Healer. Yeh, he is hot in Healer. Tapi sayang nyer heroine dia dlm drama tu is Park Min Young. I kurang sikit pada PMY. I suka dia dgn Yoona and Kim Yoo Jung.

    Akak baru mengenali pelakon Korea yang ni masa awal MCO hari tu. Netflix dan kawan-kawan minta tengok K2, Healer dan Drama lain. Suka dia berlakon watak action fighting tu. Laju betul. Hehe.

    The first time I know JCW from his drama The Empress Ki. He was acted with idk her name but the actress of Secret Garden. Also, I watched his drama suspicious partner since I am into crime thriller genre. I am not that fans of JCW but the suspicious partner seriously one of the best crime thriller drama i'v watched.
