The Majestic Neelofa




Neelofa is a Malaysian actress, TV host, entrepreneur, and fashion icon. Her full name is Noor Neelofa Mohd. Noor. She is 31 years old, born on February 10th, 1989 in Pasir Emas, Kelantan, Malaysia. Neelofa begins her career in the entertainment industry after winning Dewi Remaja in 2010. Dewi Remaja is an elite teenage beauty queen contest organized by Majalah Remaja/Malaysian Youth Magazine.

Neelofa is also one of the most successful and influential people in Malaysia and ASEAN. In 2017, Neelofa was named amongst 'Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia'.  She is one of the Malaysian celebrities that make Malaysia standing in the eyes of the world. Since tomorrow is Malaysia's 63rd Independence Day (August 31st), I am going to share with you guys about Neelofa as an actress, TV host, entrepreneur, and fashion icon. So let's begin...



NEELOFA AS AN ACTRESS

After being crowned as Dewi Remaja 2009/10, Neelofa begins her career as an actress. She appeared in TV drama series such as Kasih Najihah, Kitab Cinta, Tahajjud Cinta, Kau Yang Terindah, and many more. She also appeared in telemovies such as Jemmah Kolestrol, Pusing Beraya, Korban Tak Jadi, Dibah Lori, and many more.  In 2012, Neelofa scored her first role on silver-screen as Azura in a film called Azura 2012. Besides Azura 2012, other Neelofa films are SAM: Saya Amat Mencintaimu (2012), Hantu Kapcai (2012), Lemak Kampung Santan (2013), Faithful (2014), Dollah Superstar (2014), and Pilot Cafe (2015). As an actress, Neelofa has achieved numerous successes and awards.




NEELOFA AS A TV HOST

Neelofa was famous as a TV host for a celebrity talk show program called Meletop. She hosted Meletop alongside Nabil Ahmad from 2012 - 2019. Before Meletop, Neelofa was famous as a TV host for a women talk show program called Nona. She hosted Nona alongside Fara Fauzana from 2011-2014. Neelofa now has her own YouTube channel - Neelofa TV and #ilofayou.



NEELOFA AS AN ENTREPRENEUR

Neelofa is one of the most successful businesswomen in Malaysia.  This beautiful genius is also one of the riches girl-boss in Malaysia. Neelofa is known as a Marketing Wizzard. She is very creative when it comes to creating business opportunities and promoting her brands/products.

As an entrepreneur, Neelofa has her own brands and products. Some of her brands are Lofalens (contact lens), Beautea Slim (health care), and Neelofa Hijab (Muslimah fashion line). Neelofa Hijab is Neelofa's most successful business. Neelofa Hijab is sold in more than 37 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Australia, United Kingdom, and Europe. From 2014-2019, Neelofa has sold more than 10 million hijabs worldwide. The Muslimah clothing brand has collaborated with several brands such as AirAsia and Starbucks.

In December 2019, Neelofa launched Nilofa Group. She also introduced Nilofa Banana Milk to the Malaysian market. Nilofa Banana Milk is the first product under Nilofa Group. 



NEELOFA AS A FASHION ICON

Neelofa is very influential as a Muslimah fashion icon. To me, Neelofa's fashion sense is a breath of fresh air and an eye-opener to Muslimah fashion. Neelofa has proved that a Muslim woman can also be trendy, chic, vogue, and vibrant while wearing a hijab. Neelofa is very brave in creating her own styles. As a fashion icon, Neelofa is also active in participating World's Fashion Week events such as Kuala Lumpur, New York, Paris, Milan, and London Fashion Week. 



Ok, so that's all about Neelofa that I want to share with you guys. Neelofa is one of the Malaysian celebrities that I admire. I admire Neelofa for her genius in marketing and fashion, intelligence, zest, and enthusiasm. To me, Neelofa is a go-getter-girl that we all must adore as a role-model. As a fan, I wish Neelofa all the best in her career and future.
