HYUN BIN- Fadima Mooneira's Hottest Asian Actor Of 2020 (Plus Five Reasons)




Hyun Bin is a South Korean actor and one of Hallyu's ultimate heartthrob. Hyun Bin was born as Kim Tae Pyung, on the 25th of September 1982 in Seoul, South Korea. He is 38 years old this year. Hyun Bin made his acting debut in KBS's Bodyguard (a 2003 South Korean drama). Hyun Bin only played a minor character in Bodyguard. He played a stalker for Lee Se Eun's character (Han Shin Ae).

During the same year, this gorgeous oppa was also cast in MBC's drama Nonstop 4. Nonstop 4 was quite a hit drama in 2003. The drama's popularity made Hyun Bin's talent recognizable to South Korean filmmakers. In 2004, Hyun Bin scored a role in MBC's drama Ireland. In Ireland, Hyun Bin played a bodyguard named Kang Guk. The character Hyun Bin played in Ireland became very popular with female viewers. This made audiences and filmmakers recognized Hyun Bin's heartthrob potential. Some of Hyun Bin's dramas are My Name Is Kim Sam Soon (2005), The Snow Queen (2006-2007), Worlds Within (2008), Friend, Our Legend (2009), Secret Garden (2010), Hyde Jekyll, Me (2015), Memories Of The Alhambra (2018-2019), and Crash Landing On You (2019-2020). Besides acting in dramas, Hyun Bin also acts in movies. His movies are Daddy-Long-Legs (2004), Spin Kick (2004), A Millionaire's First Love (2006), I am Happy (2009), Late Autumn (2011), Come Rain Come Shine (2011), The Fatal Encounter (2014), Confidential Assignment (2017), The Swindlers (2017), The Negotiation (2018), Rampant (2018), and Negotiation (2020).

In my two previous posts, I shared with you guys my list of 10 hottest Asian actors of 2020. In the list, I crowned Hyun Bin oppa as the hottest Asian actor of 2020. So for today's post, I would like to share with you guys five reasons I crowned Hyun Bin as the hottest Asian actor of 2020 on my list.

#1 HIS SUPERB PERFORMANCE IN CLOY

I have to be honest that I was never a fan of this gorgeous oppa before I watched him in Crash Landing On You (CLOY). In CLOY, Hyun Bin played Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok. His performance in CLOY was extremely superb. Hyun Bin channeled Captain Ri's character really well. I can feel Captain Ri by Hyun Bin's acting. Plus, his chemistry with Son Ye Jin was incredible. This is the main reason I crowned Hyun Bin as the hottest Asian actor on my list this year. Yep, he deserves it.


#2 HIS LOVELY SMILE

It is no doubt that Hyun Bin oppa has a smile that melts the female audiences. His smile is so sweet and lovely. Plus, Hyun Bin's two dimples are a good combo to his lovely smile.


#3 HE HAS THE NATURAL SWOON

Hyun Bin's acting in CLOY proves that this gorgeous oppa has a natural swoon to melt female audiences. Hyun Bin doesn't have to try so hard to swoon his female audiences. He just did it with his superb acting skills and sincerity.


#4 HE HAS AN ELEGANT YET MANLY IMAGE

Besides his superb acting skills and charisma, Hyun Bin also has an elegant but yet manly image. I believe Hyun Bin's elegance is his X-Factor. With his elegant image, Hyun Bin proves that Asian man doesn't need to be sexy to swoon female audiences. And a man can still be manly by being elegant. I totally like that. I believe elegant is an Asian man's charm.


#5 THE WAY HE APPRECIATES HIS FANS

Delivering superb performances and not disappointing fans are the best gift an actor can give to his fans. And this is what Hyun Bin do to repay his fans' love and kindness. I like that.

      Hehehe.......i pun x tengok summer dramas and movies dia lagi. I cumer tengok CLOY, Secret Garden, and 2/3 of his movies. Before tengok CLOY I x dek pun min at sgt Hyun Bin oppa.

    I know the Crash Landing On You was a phenomena during the MCO earlier this year, but i didn't get a chance to watch it yet. Anyway, he looks so handsome and no wonder jadi kegilaan ramai. :) He has very attractive smile..

      Kim Hyun Joong.......he’s the hottie played Yoon Jo Hoo in Boys Over Flowers. I used to admire him too. Hope he’ll make a comeback soon.
