My 2020 So Far.......

How are you guys doing? I hope you guys are doing good. We will be celebrating 2021 in less than one week. Are guys excited for 2021? I hope you guys are excited. So how was your 2020 so far? I hope you guys had a good 2020. Since 2020 is coming to an end, I would like to share with you guys my 2020 highlights. So let's get started.....

FAMILY & FRIENDS

Syukur Alhamdulillah my relationship with family and friends is still good although 2020 is a hard year for us. This year, I spend more time with my parents and I'm grateful for that. This year, I hardly meet my close friends, loved ones, and relatives. But I do contact and communicate with them a lot by WhatsApp, Telegram, and other chat mediums. Not being able to meet my friends, loved ones, relatives make me realized that I miss them a lot and how valuable they are to me. I believe this is what the pandemic wants us to learn.

Although I'm not able to attend any social events this year, I still meet a lot of people by virtual and also make new friends. Syukur Alhamdulillah. Most of my new friends are authors, bloggers, content creators, and artists. We chat a lot about our passion and work. We also brainstormed ideas a learned new knowledge from each other. I'm grateful for that.

TRAVEL

Every year before this pandemic came, my family and I usually travel at least twice a year- one domestic and one overseas travel. But this year, we only did domestic travel. My family and I went to Melaka early this month. We had fun there. Our vacation this time was a relaxing one instead of an adventurous one. I will blog about my Melaka vacation soon. So pls stay tuned for it ^_^

NEW KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

I LEARNED TO WRITE A NOVEL

Early this year before the isolation, I undertook a novel-writing course with Pn. Umie Nadzimah (one of Malaysia's top novelists). The course was conducted by Paluan Seni. It was an awesome course. I always wanted to learn how to write a novel and become a novelist. Insya'Allah. Besides learning to write a novel, I also make friends with new and young authors who have the same passion and dreams.

ACHIEVEMENTS

HAD 3 BOOKS PUBLISHED

SAHABAT

Sahabat (Friends) is a book of short stories about friendship from 18 authors. The mastermind of this project was Pn. Sri Diah (one of Malaysia's top novelist and editor. She's also one of my creative writing mentors). In Sahabat, I wrote a story titled -KDK -Kawan Dari Kecil (Friends From Childhood Days). This book was published by Writers Write and it was launched in March 2020.

BOOK OF LIFESTYLE, TRAVEL, POP-CULTURE, AND EDUTAINMENT BY FADIMA MOONEIRA

Book of LTPE is my first solo book. This book is a collection of my top 6 blog posts. Book of LTPE was published by Ukiyoto Publishing (a publishing company from Canada). This book is now available in paperback and e-book. You can purchase it from Google Play, Amazon, and  Ukiyoto Official website.

III) KARI AYAM CINTA

Kari Ayam Cinta (KAC) is my third book and second collaboration project with Pn. Sri Diah. KAC is a book of short stories and recipes. Besides Pn. Sri Diah, I also collaborated with 40 other authors and Super Daddy (blogger, influencer, and YouTube chef) for KAC.  This book is now still in the oven and it will be launch soon.

#2 COMPLETED MY WIP

The female and male MC for my WIP. I draw illustrations of characters to keep myself motivated.

After I undertook a novel-writing course with Pn. Umie Nadzimah, I started to write my own novel. I completed writing and editing my WIP three times in November this year. I hope to have my novel publish in 2021. Insya'Allah, I will work on it in early 2021. Pls, pray for me.

#3 FADIMA MOONEIRA LISTED IN THE TOP 100 MALAYSIAN BLOGGERS 2020 LIST

Syukur Alhamdulillah, my blog traffic and views improve this year compared to last year. I am grateful that my blog is listed in the top 100 Malaysian bloggers list this year. I do feel that it is an honor for me to be on the list although my blog is only ranked at no.62. This achievement motivates me to work harder and improve better next year. Thank you to those who supported my blog. Pls, keep on supporting Fadima Mooneira. I already planned interesting things for my blog in 2021. So pls stay tuned.

ME SPIRITUALLY

The year 2020 taught me these 7 things.....

1) Be confident but yet humble - writing taught me this ^_^

2) It's ok not to be ok

3) See good things in all situations

4) Be a positive thinker

5) Don't be selfish

6) Be kind to yourself and others

7) Taking care of hygiene is super important

MY 2021 OBJECTIVES

#1 AS A BLOGGER AND CONTENT CREATOR

1) I want to improve my blog quality and SEO

2) I want to share more interesting content about Malaysia and Asia with my readers

3) I want to get more award nominations and win one/two

4) I want to make friends and networking with more Malaysian and international bloggers

5) I want to welcome more guest writers and feature more bloggers on my blog next year

6) I want to contribute more articles and become a guest writer on other bloggers' blog/content websites

7) I want to participate more in bloggers' interviews and be feature on other bloggers' blogs

#2 AS AN AUTHOR

1) I want to improve my writing skills

2) I want to join more creative writing courses

3) I want to publish more books......

I) I'm working on my very own novel. Insya'Allah

II) During September this year, I collaborated with Pn. Umie Nadzimah and 19 other authors on a book of romantic short stories. Insya'Allah the book will be launch and publish next year.

III) I also just signed in for another 2021 collaboration project with Pn. Sri Diah. Insya'Allah the book will make its way next year too.

4) I also want to networking with people in the publishing industry

5) I want to learn how to self-publish a book

#3 ME BESIDES BLOGGING  & WRITING

1) I want to travel more and wish to travel overseas next year

2) I want to continue to grow spiritually

3) I wish the COVID-19 will end next year. Let's pray together

Ok, that's all for now. This might be my last post of 2020. I wish you guys Happy New Year 2021 in advance. May 2021 be a better year for all of us. And may 2021 be a beautiful year for the world.
