Seven Reasons For Disney To Cast IU As One Of Their Princesses

Disney Princesses like Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Princess Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White, Mulan, Pocahontas, Moana, and many more are known for their beauty, innocence, kindness, elegance, and gracefulness. These princesses are not just cartoon characters. They are also beauty and fashion icons to girls who admire and grew up with them. So Disney must be careful when selecting actresses to play these princesses in their live-action remakes. They must select actresses who resemble their princesses. Well, Disney already selected the right actress for Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, and Mulan. So they need to do the same for Snow White and other princesses.

South Korean actress, singer, and songwriter, IU has been labeled by the media and netizens as the real-life-version-Disney-Princess for her stunning visuals and innocent vibes. Yes, she has everything it takes to be cast as a Disney Princess. After all, she already has high demands. Fans really want Disney to cast IU as one of their princesses. Fans believe that IU will make a perfect Disney Princess. I totally agree with that.

IU is known as Korea's Princess, Hallyu's IT Girl, the new national goddess, donation goddess, and the nation's little sister (it was her first nickname when she first debuted in the industry). IU is now one of the most influential celebrities in South Korea and Asia. She is highly respected for her talent, charisma, amazing beauty, generosity, kindness, and clean image. She is also a good role model for the millennials and Gen Zs. In today's post, I want to share with you guys seven reasons for Disney to cast IU as one of their princesses. Now let's get started...

#1 SHE'S THE NEW COMMERCIAL FILM QUEEN

Being Hallyu's IT Girl also means that IU is now South Korea's Commercial Film (CF) Queen. IU is now the most wanted celebrity endorser for most brands in South Korea. She is now the celebrity endorser for Chamisul (a South Korean alcoholic brand), Binggrae (a South Korean banana-flavored milk brand), Jeju Samdasoo (mineral/spring water brand), J.Estina (a high-end jewelry brand), Vedi Vero (an eyewear fashion brand), CNP Laboratory (a South Korean skincare brand. This brand is now famous among K-Beauty lovers), KD Pharmaceutical (medicine), Anipang (a South Korean mobile puzzle game), Blackyak (a South Korean outdoor-sports fashion brand), Banolin Pizza (a pizza brand), and latest, Good Bedding (a South Korean homeware brand). Besides South Korean brands, IU is also the endorser for foreign high-end brands like Gucci and Sony. These endorsements give an advantage for IU to be cast as a Disney Princess.

#2 SHE HAS THE VOICE OF A NIGHTINGALE

IU is one of the best singers in South Korea and Asia. She has an amazing and mesmerizing voice. Her singing mesmerizes everyone who listens to her music. Just imagine how amazing IU will sound when she sings Disney songs. She already did a cover version of Moana's How Far I'll Go, and she sounds amazing. Besides Disney songs, IU has also covered Bruno Mars' Marry You, Abba's Thank For The Music, and Ariana Grande's Santa Tell Me. She sounds fantastic at singing English songs.

#3 HER KINDNESS IS HER NATURAL BEAUTY

IU is known as the donation goddess of South Korea. IU has a heart of gold. She is very kind and loves doing charities and helping those who are in need. This is a true princess personality. IU's kindness makes her a truly beautiful woman. She is beautiful inside and out. If Disney cast IU as one of their princesses, this will bring a lot of positive vibes to the Disney Princess fandom. She is a princess indeed.

#4 SHE'S A SYMBOL OF ASIAN BEAUTY

An Asian woman is the most beautiful when she is elegant, polite, and dress-well. These three points are the symbols of Asian beauty. IU has all three, and that makes her a symbol of Asian beauty. Besides bringing positive vibes to the Disney Princess fandom, IU will also bring positive impressions of Asian people to Hollywood with the way she dresses, her elegance, and her politeness. 

#5 SHE'S A CHEMISTRY QUEEN

When it comes to chemistry, IU is known as one of the chemistry queens in K-dramas. She can create chemistry with her male leads. So it won't be hard for Disney to select a prince charming for IU. I believe any actor can be her prince. An Asian, Caucasian, Black and even a Latino actor can be IU's prince charming. Besides being good at creating chemistry, IU is also good at making friends with her male leads. Most actors who have worked with her say that IU also inspires dan motivates them to perform well. They were happy and grateful that they got the chance to work with her. If IU becomes a Disney Princess, I'm sure there will be many hunky Hollywood actors lining up to be her prince charming. And we,  fans will be extremely excited.

#6 SHE HAS ALL THE MAKINGS OF A DISNEY PRINCESS

Like I said before, Disney Princesses are beauty and fashion icons. They are known for their beauty, elegance, innocence, kindness, and gracefulness. So these are the makings of a Disney Princess. Btw, makings also mean characteristics. IU has all these makings. She is beautiful, elegant, innocent, kind, and graceful.  IU has also been tagged as Snow White's doppelganger by the media and netizens. Yep, IU looks exactly like Snow White.  Both of them have a petite slim figure, snowy fair and flawless skin, sparkling dark hair and eyes, and cherry red lips. Plus, IU looks at her leading guys with a hopeful eye in all her projects. Just like Snow White looks at her prince. So IU is definitely the right actress to play Snow White. Plus, IU's smile is a symbol of kindness and sincerity. And I also see a light of a princess every time I look at IU. IU's beauty and innocent vibe are enough to reward her with a crown.

#7 IT'S HER FANS' DREAM

As a fan, I communicate and networking with other UAENAs (IU's fans) in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Australia. We chat and talk about IU. We even help our Queen to promote love, kindness, and positivity. We also express our dream to see IU as a Disney Princess. My fellow UAENAs even made some fan-made posters of IU as a Disney Princess. So, Disney, pls make our dream come true. Pls, cast IU as one of your princesses. I believe IU will make a perfect and phenomena Disney Princess. Trust me, Disney, your movie will be a box office.
