SEVEN REASONS FOR DISNEY TO CAST IU AS ONE OF THEIR PRINCESSES

How are you guys doing? I hope you guys are doing good. I'm back from my break. I just got my first vaccine last Friday, the 4th of June 2021. So I decided to take a break from blogging, writing, and drawing.  

For today's post, I'm going to share five things that my girl-crush and man-crush have in common with you guys. These five things are also the reasons why I admire them. Now let's not waste time. But first, let me introduce my girl-crush and man-crush to you guys.

MY GIRL-CRUSH -IU

IU is South Korea's singer, songwriter, and actress. She is now South Korea's no.1 IT girl. IU has been in the Hallyu entertainment industry for more than one decade. IU made her debut when she was only 15 years old. IU is adored by fans for her talent, beauty, hard work, angelic personality, and kindness. 

IU has won several awards as a singer, songwriter, and actress. She is one of the most successful solo singers in K-pop entertainment. IU has been listed as one of Korea's Power Celebrities by Forbes Magazine. Her dramas are Dream High, You're The Best Lee Soon Shin, Pretty Man, The Producers, Scarlet Heart Ryo, My Mister, Persona, and Hotel Del Luna. Early this year, IU made her movie debut in Shades of The Heart. Her other two upcoming movies are Dream (also starring Park Seo Joon), and Broker. 

MY MAN-CRUSH - REMY HII

Remy Hii is a Malaysian-Australian actor. Hii is famous for his role as Brad Davis in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Alistair Cheng in Crazy Rich Asians. Besides films, Hii has also acted in television dramas such as Better Man, Neighbours, Marco Polo, and Harrow. Hii's outstanding performance in Better Man has scored him a Logie Award in 2014 for Most Outstanding Newcomer. During the same year, Hii was also nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama for AACTA Awards. Hii begins his career as a theater actor. Before Hii became an actor, he was a member of an indie-rock band called RAPIDS.

Early this year, Hii made his comeback on Aftertaste (an Australian television drama series). In Aftertaste, he played a Chinese chef named Ben Zhao. Hii's acting in Aftertaste was as awesome as always. Besides Aftertaste, Hii was also cast in Hold Still, Vincent. Hold Still, Vincent is a podcast drama about Asian hate. The podcast was produced by Gemma Chan Production. Hold Still, Vincent is now available on Apple Podcast and Spotify.

Ok... so now you know about IU and Remy Hii, here are the five things that they have in common...

#1 BOTH OF THEM ARE MULTI-TALENTED & VERSATILE

IU and Hii are not just celebrities with pretty faces. They both are multi-talented and versatile. These two actors can channel all kinds of characters. They can be a goody, but they also can be a baddy. IU and Hii can make their characters alive. And they also make audiences accept the character that they are playing. That's awesome. That's what acting is all about.

Besides acting talent, IU and Hii are also musically talented. As a singer, IU has the voice of a nightingale and she can sing all kinds of songs. She can also play almost all kinds of musical instruments. Most of her songs received good reviews from professional music critics. Remy Hii was a member of an indie-rock band called RAPIDS. In RAPIDS, Hii was the bass guitarist. Like IU, Hii can also play almost all kinds of musical instruments. Since IU and Hii are both versatile actors and musically talented, I wish to see them on the same screen together one day. I believe it would be awesome. 

#2 BOTH OF THEM ARE INTELLECTUAL

IU is also known as an intelligent songwriter and artist. All songs that she wrote have lyrics with deep and intellectual meaning. That's why her songs are awesome and inspiring to her fans. 

Intellectual is Remy Hii's middle name.  If you follow Hii on his Twitter and Instagram, you know that he loves sharing intellectual stuff on his social media. Plus, Hii is also listed as one of the Asian hunks with brains. Yes true, Hii is very intelligent and intellectual indeed. That's why I admire him.

#3 BOTH OF THEM ARE VERY HARDWORKING

Hardworking is one of the keys to success. IU and Hii are both hardworking celebrities and they believe in hard work. These two celebrities have worked hard ever since their debut. Both of them have climbed the ladder to achieve the level that they are at now.

#4 BOTH OF THEM HAVE THE SAME OPINION ON MONEY

IU always mentioned that she doesn't know what to do with having too much money. That's why she spent most of her fortunes doing charities and helping those who are in need. IU is known as a generous celebrity in the Hallyu entertainment industry. 

During his interview with Build (an Australian talk show hosted by Danny Clayton), Hii mentioned that he doesn't know what to do with having too much money. "The more money, the more trouble for me", says the actor. Hii also mentioned that money can't buy him happiness all the time. And I second that ^_^ This shows that IU and Hii are humble yet intelligent. The world will definitely be a better place if there were more people like IU and Hii. 

#5 BOTH OF THEM BELIEVE IN KINDNESS

IU and Hii both believe in kindness. They love doing charities and helping those who are in need. IU is now known as the Donation Goddess of South Korea. This beautiful actress has done a lot of charity ever since her debut. Hii also likes participating in charity projects and helping those who are in need. Hii sometimes posted on his Instagram about the charity projects that he participates in. And he even invites his followers to participate as well. This is the main reason why I admire IU and Remy Hii. They both make me believe in kindness. Admiring them also motivates me to be kind and generous.

Ok, so these are the five things that my girl-crush and man-crush have in common. These are also the five things that my girl-crush and man-crush inspire me.
