Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira. I'm back to share with you guys the fourth episode of Fadima Mooneira Bloggers Interview. For the fourth episode, I'm going to interview an Asian-Canadian blogger named Lynn Mumbing Mejia. 

I just got to know Lynn early this year on Twitter. She's a very cool, sunny, and adorable person. Her blog is one of my favorite reads. Lynn likes to share tips on DIY projects, recipes, interior design stuff, etc. Her blog is really fun to read.

ROLE MODEL: Hmm, I don’t have one! I do look up to anyone who moves to a new country that’s not their first language. I think it takes someone so brave to be able to do that!

THE INTERVIEW

1. Eiyo Lynn, now please tell me about yourself and your blog?

I decided that I wanted to be a blogger a few months before getting married. I wanted to incorporate my maiden name and marital name so I ended up with Lynn Mumbing Mejia. I knew that I wanted to be a huge part of my brand and company long-term so I decided to stick with my name! I’m all about helping people create the coziest and happiest life and what you’ll find on my blog is anything related to DIY projects that’ll make your life easier and home beautiful, RECIPES that will save you time and taste delicious, HOME DECOR trends, and hacks, Some EVERYDAY LIFE and RELATIONSHIP honesty chats, and HOLIDAY fun and GIFT IDEAS.

2. How long have you been blogging?

I bought my domain back in 2019 but wanted to try out being a YouTuber first so I didn’t use my blog until September 2020 so about a year! 

3. What makes you want to become a blogger?

This might sound crazy but I strongly feel that I’m made to be a public or loved figure. I just needed to find a way to do so. My personality matches someone who would succeed in being a Content Creator/Influencer. Also, I would love to be a stay-at-home mom one day and there’s no way in the city that I live in that my husband and I could do that so there needs to be a second income and blogging makes it possible for me! 

4. What makes your blog unique compare to other blogs?

My blog is unique because the blog is me. I am the blog. Each person in the world is different just like I am! My graphics, photos, thoughts are all my own and my love for homemaking.

5. Does your blog have a corporate color, logo, mascot, or banner? If yes, please describe?

Yes, my blog represents my style. At this moment, I love bright whites and neutral colors so my blog is that! I’m technically the mascot, haha and my slogan is “helping you create the coziest and happiest life”

6. How often do you publish a new post? And how do you keep yourself motivated?

I post minimally x3 a week! The sooner I am comfortable with the money being a Content Creator makes me, the sooner I can have kids! Being financially comfortable is important to me and that’s what keeps me motivated. 

7. Do you have any strategy to boost your blog traffic? Please share some tips.

I often see people get lost with their platform and give up so the only real tip that I share with people is to just be yourself. Never promote something you don’t stand by and engage with your community and share the support and love when you can!

Lynn also likes to share some yummy-licious recipes on her blog. I like most of the recipes that she shared. I believe Lynn has a good talent for cooking and baking.

8. What are your top 3 most successful posts? What makes you think these top 3 posts are appealing? Please provide a URL to your top 3 most successful posts.

My 3 most successful posts are based on Home Decor and Relationships:

I work hard for every post and write it well but I guess these are just what people have been searching for the past year! 

9. Besides writing on your blog, do also write and contribute articles to other blogs and websites? If yes, please mention it.

No, I don’t write for others. I may in the future but for now, I write on my blog and maybe a guest post every few months or so.

10.Where do you wish your blog to be in 5 years?

My goals are for my blog to become a full-blown empire for me and be multiple sub-companies related to my niches! I also hope to have a team working with me because being a one-woman show is so hard!
