How are you guys doing? I hope you guys are doing good and feeling excited today. It's because I'm going to take you guys for a virtual art gallery tour via today's post. Yep, the Fadima Mooneira Art Gallery virtual tour is back, guys. And I'm back as your tour guide again ^_^ Yay!!!!!!
In my previous post, I already mentioned that I'm making September an IU month on my blog. To those who missed my previous post, K-pop queen, IU will be celebrating her 13th anniversary next Saturday (18th of September 2021). As a UAENA, I decided to celebrate IU's 13 anniversary by posting and sharing some back-to-back posts on the K-pop queen. So this virtual art gallery is going to be part of the IU month special. Yep, I'm going to share five of my IU fanart with you guys on this post. Now, let's not waste time. Let's check out the five fanart...
#1 IU FOR NEW BALANCE
Ladies and gentlemen, the first fanart is an illustration of IU in New Balance sportswear. This fanart is based on IU's advertisement for New Balance. IU is now the Asian brand ambassador for the American sportswear brand. This fanart is a markers-on-paper hand-drawn illustration. I used black-ink ballpoint, Copic, and Sharpie markers to make this fanart. This fanart was first drawn on white paper. After the drawing and coloring, I cut out the figure and pasted it on orange paper to make it look bold and striking. Ok, that's all on the first fanart. Now let's move to the second one...
#2 IU'S CHAMISUL x VOGUE KOREA SECRET PARTY -PURE
Ladies and gentlemen, here's the second fanart. This fanart is based on IU's advertisement campaign for Chamisul (a South Korean alcohol brand). IU is the endorser for Chamisul. Chamisul collaborated with Vogue Korea for this advertisement campaign. This advertisement was a Christmas 2020 promotion. This campaign was conducted in four episodes - Pure, Lovely, Dreamy, and Twinkle. This fanart is based on the Pure episode. IU looks beautiful and pure in a simple white gown with all the flowers around her. Her beauty in this advertisement motivates me to draw this fanart. This fanart is hand-drawn on an Ipad Pro using iPencil, and the Adobe Sketch app.
#3 IU'S CHAMISUL x VOGUE KOREA SECRET PARTY -DREAMY
Ok... so here's the third fanart of this month's art gallery. This fanart is also based on IU's advertisement for Chamisul's Christmas 2020 promotion. This advertisement is from the Dreamy episode of IU's Chamisul x Vogue Korea Secret Party. In this advertisement, IU wore a sweet-mint color evening gown. IU looks so dreamy in this advertisement. This advertisement is one of my favorite IU advertisement campaigns. Like the second one, this fanart is also hand-drawn on an iPad Pro using iPencil, and Adobe Sketch. Ok, now let's move to the fourth fanart ^_^
#4 IU RED QUEEN
Ladies and gentlemen, we are now looking at the fourth fanart. This fanart is an illustration of IU in Denicheur's Flaming Red Ball-Gown. I think IU looks like a queen in this red ball gown. So beautiful and stunning.
Ladies and gentlemen, Denicheur is a South Korean fashion brand. This fashion brand sells stunning Victorian and Georgian-inspired gowns, dresses, and other kinds of outfits for women. This fanart is a markers-on-paper hand-drawn illustration. I used a black-ink ballpoint, Copic, and Sharpie markers for this fanart. To make this fanart look striking, I first draw IU's figure on white paper, and later I cut and paste it onto black paper. I believe black background always makes an artwork look striking.
#5 IU CELEBRITY
Finally... we are looking at the last fanart of this tour. This fanart is based on IU's music video, Celebrity. IU wore a pretty light pink ball-gown and diamonte headgear in her Celebrity music video. She looks so romantic and adorable. This fanart is hand-drawn on an iPad Pro using iPencil, and Adobe Sketch.
