How's your 2022 so far? And how's January treating you? I hope you guys are doing great.
Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira Art Gallery. I'm back as your tour guide again ^_^ And in this month's art gallery, I'm going to introduce two characters that I created for my upcoming story to you guys. I hope you guys are excited to get to know them.
Ok,... so let's not waste time and get started...
#1 REMY HII AT AACTA 2021
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the first artwork is my illustration of Malaysian-Australian actor Remy Hii (Peter Maxwell in Princess Switch 3). Remy wore this stunning tuxedo at the AACTA 2021 (the Australian Academy Of Cinema & Television Arts Awards). This tuxedo makes Remy look all suave and handsome.
This artwork is a hand-drawn illustration. I used iPencil, iPad Pro, and the Adobe Fresco app to draw it. Ok, now let's move to the second artwork, shall we?
#2 FADNEIRA IN APHRODITE VIBES
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we are now looking at the second artwork of this month's gallery. The second artwork is an illustration of my blog mascot, Fadneira in Aphrodite vibes. I recently fell in love with Greek mythology. I've been reading and watching a lot of Greek mythology videos on YouTube. So that's why I draw my mascot in Aphrodite vibes ^_^
This illustration is hand-drawn by me using iPencil, iPad Pro, and the Adobe Sketch app. Ok, this is all about the second artwork. Now let's move to the third one...
#3 FADNEIRA IS PERSEPHONE VIBES
Ladies and gentlemen, here's another image of Fadneira in a Greek Goddess vibe. This time I draw Fadneira in Persephone vibes. Persephone is Demeter's (goddess of agriculture) daughter & Hades' (god of the underworld) wife. She is also the goddess and queen of the underworld. Hades and Persephone's romance story fascinated me the most. I'm always into and will never be over the good-girl-and-bad-boy-romance trope. Hehehe ^_^
Like the first and second artwork, this illustration is also hand-drawn using iPad Pro, iPencil, and the Adobe Sketch app.
#4 WILSON CHO
Voila!!!!!!!!!..... Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... let me introduce you to Wilson Cho. Wilson is the love interest in Pretty Pink Garden. He's a Chinese-Malaysian guy, an entrepreneur, florist, and MBA student. Wilson is the only son of a single mother. He is hardworking, enthusiastic, dedicated to his career and dreams, polite, and humble. Wilson's celebrity look alike is South Korea's cute actor, Kim Soo Hyun.
Pretty Pink Garden is a short story I wrote in Komplot Cerpen Penulis Paluan Seni (KCPPS). KCPPS is a book of romantic short stories. KCPPS is my sixth book and first collaboration project with Puan Umie Nadzimah (one of Malaysia's most successful novelists) and Encik Khairul Naim (Malaysia's indie author). KCPPS will be released in January/February 2022.
This artwork is a marker-on-paper hand-drawn illustration. I used Copic and Sharpie markers to draw it.
#5 NURSOFIA AMIRA (MIRA)
And last but not least, here is the last/fifth artwork of this month's gallery. Ladies and gentlemen, just now I introduced the love interest of Pretty Pink Garden to you guys. Now let me introduce Nursofia Amira (Mira), the main character in Pretty Pink Garden to you guys.
Mira is a 20 years old fashion student. She loves art, fashion, flowers, cute things, and handsome guys. Mira is a friendly, happy-go-lucky, enthusiastic, and kind-hearted girl. I created her after South Korean beautiful young actress, Kim Yoo Jung (KYJ). Mira has the same physical appearance as Kim Yoo Jung except her hair is rose gold in color.
This artwork is another hand-drawn illustration. I used iPencil, iPad Pro, and the Adobe Fresco app to draw it.
Ok, so these are the artworks I wanted to share with you guys in this month's art gallery. Mira and Wilson are the two new characters I created and wanted to introduce to you guys. Insya-Allah, I will draw more illustrations of Mira and Wilson. And if you guys are interested to get to know Mira and Wilson better, please feel free to purchase the book, Komplot Cerpen Penulis Paluan Seni (KCPPS). You guys can get to know them better after reading Pretty Pink Garden.
