SEVEN WAYS TO BOOST YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE
Boosting self-confidence is not an easy thing. But still, boosting self-confidence is an important thing and a must in life. Everyone needs to believe in themselves if they want to have a good and happy life.
Self-confidence means trusting your abilities, capabilities, and decision-making. Plus, self-confidence is about maintaining a positive mindset of yourself and your life.
So on this special date, 22.02.2022, I, Fadima Mooneira would like to help myself and others to boost our self-confidence. So here are seven ways to boost our self-confidence...
#1 FOCUS ON YOUR INNER QUALITIES
Focusing on inner qualities is the no.1 key in boosting self-confidence. This is because inner qualities help us get to know ourselves better and know what we're capable of. Inner qualities bring a lot of magic to a person more than physical appearance. So guys, if you want to be confident with yourself, you need to focus on your inner qualities. Don't focus too much on your looks. In fact, you'll be automatically good-looking if you're confident with your inner self no matter how you look like.
#2 BELIEVE IN YOUR CAPABILITIES
Once we're confident in our inner qualities, we know our capabilities. And once we know our capabilities, we must be confident with them. Our capabilities make us special. So be grateful for your capabilities, guys. And please make good use of them.
#3 PRACTICE SELF-LOVE
Self-love is also super important in boosting self-confidence. If we want others to believe in us, we must believe in ourselves first. And if we want to believe in ourselves, we must love ourselves first. So love yourself, guys. Please tell yourself that you are worth it. You are awesome the way you are. And most important, be unapologetically you ^_^
PS: Unapologetically is my favorite word now. Yes, I am unapologetically me ^_^
#4 SET DAILY AND LONG-TERM GOALS FOR YOURSELF
Goals are motivations to improve our life. Without goals, our life will be like eating ice cream with no flavor. So this is why setting daily and long-term goals are important for our self-development. Plus, working hard and achieving our goals will help us increase our confidence. Achieving our goals tells us that we are stronger and smarter than we thought we were. So dare to dream big and work on your dreams, guys. You have nothing to lose. And be brave enough to face failure. Failure is the beginning of success.
#5 CELEBRATE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS EVERY DAY (INCLUDING SMALL ONES)
After working hard to improve our lives and achieve our goals, we need to celebrate the achievements (including small ones). So go reward yourself with something nice. Maybe buy yourself a simple present, cook a delicious meal for yourself, or maybe have a pampering day for yourself. This is also part of self-love practice.
#6 DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF WITH OTHERS
Comparing yourself with other people is a bad habit. It ruins your self-confidence. So don't and never ever compare yourself with other people. Some people may achieve more than you, and some may achieve less than you. But you must remember that every one's life and journey are unique. And so are yours.
#7 SPEND TIME WITH GOOD PEOPLE & DITCH TOXIC PEOPLE
It is also important for us to choose who our friends are. Be friends and spend time with good people who make you feel positive about yourself. The positive feeling will help you to boost your self-confidence.
And besides, being friends and spending time with good people, you also need to ditch those who don't appreciate you and make you feel small. These people are toxic. They will ruin the beauty inside you and suck your positive energy (including your self-confidence). So please ditch these toxic people from your life, guys. They don't deserve your kindness. And remember, you deserve way much better than them ^_^
Ok, so these are the seven ways to boost self-confidence. I believe these seven tips are important for us to follow to boost our self-confidence. And most important, please remind yourself that you're BORN TO DO IT!
Last but not least, I want to ask my readers one question on boosting self-confidence. What do you guys do to boost your self-confidence? Please share some of your tips with me in the comment box below. I would like to hear from you guys ^_^
Ok, this is all for now. Thank you for reading. See you guys again in my next post. Insya-Allah.
XoXo,
Fadima Mooneira ^_^

ReplyDeleteThat’s good. I struggle a lot with self-confidence and anxiety when was in my 20’s. Syukur alhamdulillah i’m getting to know myself better in my 30’s. And this pandemic help a lot.
DeleteI agree so much about what you share here. I've always thought that confidence transfers over to aesthetic attractiveness. I have known people that, upon first glance, may not have been attractive, but their confidence makes them a hottie. I've always been confident in certain areas of my life, but in others, I struggle. It's hard to keep the voices of others out of your head and comparison to others is a killer. Great tips here to keep people focused on who they are and what they have to offer.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Focus on your inner qualities and don’t compare yourself to others are key to confidence.
DeleteI love these tips but I must admit I am trying out a "goal-less" where I'm trying to focus more on habits rather than objectives. Otherwise, I feel so happy/vindicated knowing I do most of these. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThat’s another good approach. I did that the last 3 years. And now I want to change.
