FIVE REASONS WHY REMY HII CAN BECOME AN A-LIST HEARTTHROB IN HALLYU

Remy Hii is a Malaysian-Australian actor. He is now one of the hottest Asian heartthrobs in Hollywood. Hii is charming, charismatic, born with perfect visuals, a humble personality, and versatile talent. As an actor, Hii can channel different kinds of roles. He can be a prince on a white horse, a high school student, a rich spoiled brat, etc.

As a fan of Hii, I watched most of his dramas and movies. So in today's post, I would like to share with you guys my top five favorite Remy Hii characters in his dramas and movies. Now let's begin the list with no.5 to no.1.

#5 MARCUS (ARCANE)

Arcane is a Netflix original adult-animation series. It is also one of the hottest and most streamed shows on Netflix right now. In Arcane, he played Marcus, one of the side characters. Marcus was portrayed as an overzealous and fierce enforcer. This character only lasts till episode 7 of season one. However, I believe Hii did a great job playing Marcus. He deserves a thumbs up and claps for his awesome performance in Arcane. I actually wish that this character would last longer. I also wish to see Hii in animation dramas or movies again. And luckily, Hii mentioned in a podcast show, What A Great Punk that he will be appearing in an Australian animation show this year. Yay! I'm excited ^_^ Hii is a good voice actor and has an unusual unique tone when he speaks.

#4 BRAD DAVIS (SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME)

I'm sure all Spider-Man fans are familiar with Brad Davis. Brad Davis was Peter Paker's romantic rival in Spider-Man: Far From Home. To be honest, I'm not into this character that much. But I believe Hii did a good job in playing Brad Davis. Hii played Brad Davis so well and made this character adorable to the audience. Plus, it was amazing that a man in his 30s can play a high school student. Again, thumbs up to Hii for this awesome performance.

#3 BEN ZHAO (AFTERTASTE)

Aftertaste is an Australian comedy sitcom. In Aftertaste, Hii played an Asian chef named Ben Zhao. Ben Zhao was the antagonist in the drama. Aftertaste was first aired on Australian television in 2021 (I watched it online ^_^). This drama is going to have a season 2. Yay!!!!!!!!! I'm excited to see Ben Zhao in action again. Ben Zhao was a very cute and hilarious character.  This character made me laugh while watching the drama.

#2 PRINCE JINGIM KHAN (MARCO POLO)

My list won't be complete without Prince Jingim in it. Prince Jingim was the second hero in Netflix's 2014-2015 Marco Polo. Prince Jingim was one of Hii's biggest roles. This character made Hii gain popularity worldwide. Hii was majestic and stunning as Prince Jingim. Prince Jingim was the character that most of Hii's fans miss. Most of Hii's fans want to see him in a historical drama or movie and as a prince again. I also want to see Hii in a historical drama or movie again in the future. It will be super awesome!

#1 PETER MAXWELL (PRINCESS SWITCH 3: ROMANCING THE STAR)

Peter Maxwell was one of Hii's most promising roles. Peter Maxwell was the love interest of Lady Fiona Pembroke (Vanessa Hudgens' third character in the movie). Peter was a very loveable character. He was a bad boy with a kind heart. The character was also charming, cool, and suave.  Hii's acting in the movie captured the female audience's heart. Hii channeled peter Maxwell so well. He made the character so alive. As a fan of Hii, I watched this movie six times already ^_^  I just can't get enough of Peter Maxwell. And Princess Switch 3 now is my no.1 favorite holiday movie. I wish there will be a Princess Switch 4. I want to see Hii as Peter Maxwell again. I'm in love with this character. Plus, this character suits Hii so well.

To all Remy Hii fans, this talented actor has a lot of cool projects coming up this year. In the What A Great Punk podcast that I listened to last week, Hii mentioned that he will be back in Aftertaste season two, he will appear in an animation movie and one Netflix show.  Oh wow! I'm excited! And I wish to see him in more promising roles. I wish to see Hii as a villain or a morally grey character. Hehehe ^_^
