BOOK HEARTTHROB PROFILE: ESKANDAR ARASYAH FROM DIA TETAP SEMPURNA

Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira. How are you guys feeling today? I hope you guys are feeling good and excited. It's because the book heartthrob profile episode is back with another swoon-and-crush-worthy book heartthrob. Yay ^_^
For this month's book heartthrob profile episode, I will feature Eskandar Arasyah. He is a book heartthrob created by Anjell for one of her bestselling novels, Dia Tetap Sempurna. Ok, let's not waste time since it's already Friday night. Let's begin this analysis with Eskandar's profile...
ABOUT EKSANDAR ARASYAH
NAME: Eskandar Arasyah bin Tan Sri Emran
AGE: 30 years old (It was mentioned by the author)
NATIONALITY: Malaysian
OCCUPATION: Furniture designer & entrepreneur
HIS ROLE IN THE STORY: The love interest to the female protagonist
HIS GOALS: Eskandar fell for Dara Nailufar (the female protagonist) the first time he met her. During their first meeting, Dara was chased by a cat (Yep, Dara was scared of cats), and Eskandar saved her. To Eskandar, Dara was adorable and the most charming girl he had ever met. From that day, Eskandar swore to get close to Dara. And will do anything to win her heart. But at the same time, Eskandar had a dark past and was ashamed of it. He was afraid that Dara cannot accept him if she knows his history.
HIS PERSONALITY
Like Dr. Hilman Ukasyah (Dr. Alpha Male) and Dheo Han (Dheo's), Eskandar is also one of Anjell's swoon-worthy alpha male heroes. Anjell portrayed Eskandar as a suave-boy-next-door. He can be the sweet simple guy you know next door in his casual look. And he can also be dashing when he dresses up.
Eskandar is charming, adorable, humble, confident, charismatic, romantic, loving, responsible, protective, reliable, hardworking, and a sweet gentleman. He is also very artistic. Eskandar loves art and he is good at designing. He is also into poems and good at writing them.
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Anjell created Eskandar as a very handsome character. Just like her previous heroes, Eskandar is also tall and all masculine. He is blessed with perfect visuals and strong physics. His skin tone is not too fair but not too dark. He has dark brown hair and two dreamy puppy brown eyes. Eskandar's two puppy brown eyes are his most distinguishing features.
When I was reading the novel, I imagined Shinee's Choi Min Ho as Eskandar Arasyah. Like Eskandar, Min Ho also has two puppy brown eyes, perfect visuals, and strong physics. And like Eskandar, Min Ho's skin tone is also not too fair but not too dark. Plus, Min Ho also has the suave-boy-next-door look just like Eskandar.
HIS BACKSTORY
Eskandar Arasyah was Tan Sri Emran's eldest son. Eskandar had a happy life before his mother passed away due to breast cancer when he was only 7 years old. And just before Eskandar's mother passed away, Tan Sri Emran married another woman named Sumayyah. Eskandar was not happy when he found out about it. Eskandar believed that his mother died because of heartbroken. He did not know that his mother actually died of breast cancer.
But what Eskandar doesn't know was that his late mother, Elmira, told Tan Sri Emran to take Sumayyah as his second wife. Sumayyah was actually Tan Sri Emran's first love. Elmira believed that Sumayyah was a good woman and she will take care of Emran and Eskandar for her when she was gone.
Since Eskandar doesn't know his parents' real story, he grew up as a rebel and became secretive. That was how he got his dark past.
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER
To me, Eskandar is not a complicated character to understand. All he had with his parents was just a misunderstanding. I like Eskandar Arasyah's character a lot. I believe Eskandar is one of the best heroes that Anjell ever created. He is crush-worthy. He is swoon-worthy. I had a crush on this character while I was reading the novel. Eskandar is so dreamy and romantic. I like that he called Dara 'Sunshine'. It's so sweet! I love sunshine as a pet name. Oh, how I wish Eskandar is real! ^_^
Eskandar loves his heroine dearly. He loves Dara with all his heart. And he is willing to do anything to get her in his arms. Eskandar also accepts Dara for who she is. Her flaws don't matter to him. To Eskandar, Dara is a woman with endless charm. Auwww!!! ^_^
And since I had a crush on this character, I highly recommend my fellow bookworms who are into the romance genre to read Dia Tetap Sempurna. Trust me guys, you will love the novel. And you will fall in. love with Eskandar Arasyah as well ^_^
