NOVEL REVIEW: 'DIA' MY LOVE BY ZAN ZARIDA
Eiyo dearies,
Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira. How are you guys doing lately? I'm doing fine and busy with Nanowrimo and other work as well. I hope November is treating you right ^_^
For today's post, I'm going to share my review of a Bahasa Malaysia romance novel I finished reading last week. The novel is titled 'Dia' My Love. And it is written by Zan Zarida. Now let's not waste time and begin this review with Zan Zarida's bio...
ABOUT ZAN ZARIDA
Zan Zarida is one of the well-known authors in Malaysia's Book Industry. Besides 'Dia' My Love, she is also the author of Alahai, Mat Salih!, Aduhai, Bos Bertuah!, Mas Kahwinku, Saya Cup Hati Awak!, Kekasih Jangan Marah, and Akad Dua Hati. Most of her novels belong in the romantic-comedy genre and are listed as bestsellers. ABOUT 'DIA' MY LOVE
Isaac Newton Shahrullah sets his eyes on Rus Ashiya the first time he sees her. Isaac strongly believes that Rus is his fate. He is determined to have her as his other half. And he is willing and daring enough to do anything to get her in his arms.
Rus Ashiya is an innocent beauty who never disobeys her parents' wishes. And she is willing to marry a family friend's son even though she doesn't love that guy.
One week before Rus' wedding, her fiancee, Huzaif requested to break the engagement. Huzaif does not want to marry Rus. Huzaif does not love Rus, and he is already secretly married to a girl named Sarah. Huzaif's mother is not happy with it. The old lady still wishes to have Rus as her daughter-in-law. So Isaac Newton Shahrullah (who is actually Huzaif's step-brother) requested to take his place and marry Rus Ashiya.
Rus is totally shocked. In her wildest dream, Rus never imagine that she will marry the guy she met once on a train ride. However, Isaac's sincerity makes Rus fall in love with him. But at the same time, Rus is also scared to fall in love with her husband. It's because her BFF, Amy likes Isaac too.
Amy was not at Rus and Isaac's wedding. So Amy does not know that Isaac is now Rus' husband. What will happen when Amy finds out that the guy of her dreams is now her BFF's husband? Can Amy accept it? Will Rus and Amy remain friends? And will Rus and Isaac live a happy married life in this kinda situation?
MY REVIEW OF 'DIA' MY LOVE
'Dia' My Love (DML) is Zan Zarida's sixth novel. To me, DML is a very adorable romantic-comedy novel. It's a story about two people who are fated for each other. DML carries the boy-meets-girl romance trope. This novel is a very enjoyable read. And it is good for light reading.
The male protagonist, Isaac Newton Shahrullah is the show stiller of this story. He makes the novel enjoyable to read. The character was adorably created by the author. Zan Zarida created Isaac as every woman's dream guy. Isaac is cute and good-looking. He is blessed with perfect visuals and has great physics. Isaac also has a good career. He is a successful entrepreneur. Isaac is smart and charismatic. He has strong self-confidence in him. And most important is that Isaac loves Rus sincerely and dearly with all his heart. He strongly believes that Rus is the only woman for him. He will do anything to win her heart. Isaac is another swoon-worthy alpha male hero to have a crush on ^_^
Overall, I rate this novel 9/10. I would highly recommend my fellow bookworms who are into the romantic-comedy genre to read DML. I also would highly recommend DML to those who are looking for something light to read. Trust me, guys, this novel is worth reading. It has a lot of feel-good and happy vibes in it. It will make you happy ^_^ I'm sure you guys will enjoy reading 'Dia' My Love.
Last but not least, I also would like to credit the cover designer of this novel. The cover has a very simple design. But it is pretty and eye-catchy. Plus, I like the sunflower-yellow color. I believe the cover design suits the story and the title of this novel. It also gives you a hint that this novel carries feel-good vibes in it.
Ok, this is my review of 'Dia' My Love by Zan Zarida. DML is the first Zan Zarida novel that I read. So, is anyone here a fan of Zan Zarida? If yes, can you guys please suggest to me which Zan Zarida novel should I read next? Please feel free to share your suggestion in the comment box below ^_^
Ok, this is all for now. I hope you guys enjoyed this review. Thank you for reading. I'll see you guys again in my next post. Take care ^_^

Arrange marriage is still a common thing among Malay people even though there are many millennials despite it. However, it depends on the parents sincerity. If the parents are sincere, the children’s marriage will work well.
DeleteYou’re doing a remarkable process. Hold it up
