This time, I'm going to share my analysis of Simon Darby. He is a book heartthrob created by Eloisa James for her novel Fool For Love. Now let's begin this analysis with Simon's profile...
ABOUT SIMON DARBY
NAME: Simon Darby
AGE ESTIMATED: Early 30's (Most probably around 30-35 years old)
NATIONALITY: British
OCCUPATION: Businessman
HIS ROLE IN THE STORY: He is the love interest of the female protagonist, Lady Henrietta Maclellan.
HIS GOALS: Simon is taking care of his two orphan step-sisters like his own children. He also wishes to find a mother for the two little girls. Simon is intrigued by Henrietta's charm after he meets her. She is good with children. He soon wants to make Henrietta his bride and the mother of his step-sisters.
HIS PERSONALITY
Simon is portrayed by the author as a very charming and seductive man. He is good at seducing women with his charm. I like the way he seduces Henrietta in the story. Since Henrietta is not capable of giving birth, she tries her best to stay away from romance and marriage. The beautiful Lady Henrietta remains calm until she meets Simon.
Simon makes Henrietta wants to whisper promises late at night, exchange kisses on the balcony, and receive illicit love notes. This alpha male hero is just too hard for Henrietta to resist.
Simon is also very trendy and loves stylish outfits. The author also portrays Simon as a man with absolute confidence, and he can also be quite arrogant. At the beginning of the story, Simon vows that he will never turn himself into a fool for any woman. So, at every ball Simon attends, he will try his best to ignore all ladies who stare at him until he lay his eyes on Henrietta. Her beauty is hard for him to resist as well.
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Simon is a very good-looking man. He is tall and all masculine. He has golden brown hair, light brown eyes, and fair skin. Simon's hair color and eyes make him look naturally charming and seductive to the ladies. Oh wow... I can imagine how charming Simon is if he is a real person. Even I would be attracted to him. Hehehe ^_^
HIS BACKSTORY
When Simon finds out about his Aunt Esme's unexpected pregnancy, he becomes suspicious. Could this be true? Esme's late husband passed away quite a long time ago. If this is true, who's child is Esme carrying? And if this is true, Simon and his two step-sisters would be disinherited.
Determine to discover the truth about Esme's pregnancy, Simon and his step-sisters travel to the countryside. And in the countryside, they meet Henrietta. That's where the romance story begins.
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THIS CHARACTER
Overall, I believe Simon Darby is a very charming alpha male hero. He is good enough to swoon every female reader's heart. Simon is an ace in romance. I like the way he romances Henrietta and makes her can't resist him. He is very romantic and passionate.
I have to admit that I had a crush on this character while I was reading the novel. But unfortunately, my crush on Simon did not last that long. Huhuhu :P
However, I still believe that Simon is a crush-worthy book heartthrob. If you ladies, want to know more about Simon Darby's character, you need to read Fool For Love by Eloisa James ^_^
Ok, so this is my analysis of Simon Darby, a book heartthrob created by Eloisa James for one of her historical romance novels, Fool For Love. Fool For Love is a good romance novel for light reading. The story is fun and has feel-good vibes in it. However, I do need to be honest that this story has more than five steamy romantic scenes in it. So it is not suitable for teenagers under 18.
Btw, I'm going to end this post here. But before I end this post, I like to ask my readers two related questions...

DeleteI did not crush on Simon Darby, but I do like how he tried to convince Henrietta that she was not as incapacitated as she thought to be. So far my favourite hero created by Eloisa James is Sir Griffin Barry from Seduced By A Pirate 😉❤❤
