Eiyo dearies,
Fadima Mooneira is back with a travel blog post. Two weeks ago, I took a break from my work and blogging. And during the break, my family and I went to Kuantan, Pahang for a short vacation. So in today's post, I will share some of my travel photos with you guys ^_^ But before that, let me share a summary of Kuantan first...
ABOUT KUANTAN
Kuantan is a city and the state capital of Pahang, Malaysia. It is the 18th largest city in Malaysia. Kuantan is also the largest city on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The city is located near the mount of the Kuantan River. Kuantan is now known as one of the most touristic destinations in Malaysia. Kuantan is always well known for its beautiful beaches.
Ok, so this is my summary of Kuantan. Now let's check out my travel photos...
#1
Voila!!! Here's a picture of me having breakfast at Kuantan Pickers on our first day there. Kuantan Pickers is a hipster cafe located in the middle of the city. This cafe is very popular among tourists and local people. In fact, this cafe is one of the must-visit spots in Kuantan. The food here is delicious. The service here is excellent. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Besides the delicious food and excellent service, Kuantan Pickers also provides its customers nostalgic experience with vintage decors. This cafe is like a museum of vintage stuff.

Taadaa!!! Look at these vintage toys at Kuantan Pickers. Aren't they lovely? Oh wow, these toys make me realize how much I miss my childhood days ^_^ Btw, if I remember, one of my cousins used to have that Woody Woodpecker Lunch Box. Was it you, cousin Sadal? Or maybe cousin Mamal? Umm...

I also found something that reminded me of Emil and Dahlia (the MC and LI of Fail Merah) at Kuantan Pickers. Hacks is Emil and Dahlia's favorite candy. Hacks candy is also one of the romance elements in Fail Merah. It's actually a very classic and vintage candy. In Fail Merah, Hacks stands for 'Hanya Aku Cinta Kau Sayang' (I'm the only one who loves you, my love ^_^).

After breakfast at Kuantan Pickers, we met Eomoni's best friend, Auntie Jamie. Auntie Jamie lives in Kuantan and she took us to visit a resort that she is working on. The resort is called Casa Titik. Casa Titik is a lovely resort situated at Cherating and it is next to the beach. At the moment, this resort is not open yet. It is still under construction. But when it is open, Casa Titik will be a good place for vacation and retreat. I'm now planning to have a writer's retreat here in the future. Insya-Allah.

Meow... meow... meow ^_^ Say hello to all the beautiful kitties of Casa Titik. There's also going to be a cat sanctuary at Casa Titik. So this resort is going to be a good vacation spot for cat lovers like me. Yay!!!

On the next day, we visited the Kuantan River. The Kuantan River is one of the most touristic spots in the city. That's where the Kuantan 188 Tower is situated. I found a spot that reminded me of Namsan Tower. Yep, a spot to hang lovelocks. Hehehe ^_^
PS: I'm addicted to lovelocks. I believe lovelocks are one of the best ways to leave memories behind ^_^
#7
Taadaa!!! And here's my Kuantan Lovelock. This lovelock is dedicated to Fail Merah fans. To Fail Merah fans, if you visit Kuantan River, please don't forget to take a picture with this little red heart at the lovelocks spot. The Lovelocks Spot is situated right in front of the Kuantan 188 Tower entrance. Don't forget to share your picture on social media, and include your picture with #FailMerah and #FadimaMooneiraWriter. Plus, don't forget to tag me in your picture. Btw, here are my socmeds:-

Picture no.8 is similar to picture no.7. It's a back view of Fail Merah Lovelock. And it's waiting for you guys ^_^
#9
The city and river view from Kuantan 188 Tower. It's amazing! The bridge looks so amazing from the top. Hehehe ^_^
#10
Woah! Look at the ray of light. That's the sun. Yep, we observed the sunset from Kuantan 188 Tower. It was an amazing experience for us. Syukur alhamdulillah ^_^
#11
Voila!!! Here's the city of Kuantan at night. The mosque is all lighted up and it looks so lovely. Oh, I love cities at night. I'm always a city girl at heart. Hehehe ^_^
#12
Taadaa!!! Here's a picture of the Kuantan 188 Tower all lighted up at night. Isn't it gorgeous? The lights on the tower change colors every five seconds.
#13
After visiting Kuantan 188 Tower, we visited Kuantan Art Street. According to most travel websites, Kuantan Art Street is a must-visit spot in Kuantan. It's a place for hipsters and artists. Here's a picture of my eomoni as a surfer ^_^
#14
The next day, we visited Teruntum Zoo. The Teruntum Zoo is located at Jalan Padang Golf. And it is not very far from the resort we stayed at. Lucky me, Teruntum Zoo is having a dinosaur exhibition now. All the dinosaurs there are lifesize. Some are just statues. But some are animatronics and can move. Wow!!! Looking at dinosaurs makes me happy. I'm always fascinated with dinosaurs since I was a child. And when I was a child, I always dream to become a paleontologist. In fact, that was my first ambition. Ngehehe ^_^
#15
Taadaa... daadaa!!! Here's a picture of me with my favorite dinosaur, the triceratops. Oh wow... they are lovely creatures. I'm in love ^_^
#16
Now here's a picture of me with a baby tyrannosaurus fossil. I was really fascinated with the fossil. Oh wow!!! I love this place. Visiting Teruntum Zoo makes me feel like a real scientist. Hehehe :P

And last but not least, here's a picture of my hand holding a jumbo-size cup of peppermint mango latte from Kopi Mesin. According to most travel vloggers, Kopi Mesin is a must-try in Kuantan. I definitely agree with them. This latte is just delicious. You guys must not miss it.
Ok, so these are the photos from my Kuantan vacation. Syukur alhamdulillah, my family and I had a great time in Kuantan. We enjoyed our stay and vacation there. And we wish to visit Kuantan again in the future. Insya-Allah.
So dear readers, did you guys go for a vacation somewhere recently? If yes, where? And did you guys enjoy your vacation?
Ok, this is all for now. Thank you for reading my post. I'll see you guys again in my next post. Insya-Allah. Khungang haseyo and bonne weekend ^_^
