Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira. The Book Heartthrob Profile episode is back. Yay!!! The book heartthrob I'm going to feature today is a special one. He is not a book heartthrob from books I've read. But he is a book heartthrob I created myself. He is Haikal Kim from my upcoming novel, Saranghaeyo Namsan. Hooray!!!

ABOUT HAIKAL KIM
NAME: Haikal Kim Eun Seop
AGE: 27-28 years old
NATIONALITY: South Korean ~ He's a Korean-Muslim
OCCUPATION: Businessman/Library cafe owner
HIS ROLES IN THE STORY: He is the male lead and the love interest to the female lead/protagonist, Maya Juhara
HIS GOALS: Haikal has a strong passion for books. His main goal is to keep the book industry alive and boost reading culture among Asian youth. Haikal wants to make South Korea a reading nation and Asia a reading continent.
When Haikal meets Maya, he is captivated by her zest and enthusiasm. He wants her for himself. He believes Maya is the only woman for him. She is the woman who makes him want to be in love again.
HIS PERSONALITY
Haikal is an alpha male 2.0 and he belongs in The King category. Haikal is born to lead. He is tough, bold, courageous, intelligent, quick-witted, decisive, and goal-oriented. He is a man with absolute confidence. He is also a man with plans and strategies. Discipline is his middle name. And he hates lies! So you guys better be a good worker if you want to work with Haikal Kim. Hahaha :P
Maya does not like Haikal at the beginning of the story. To Maya, Haikal is a big-headed person who thinks he is 'all that'. Well, if you don't know Haikal, you will agree with Maya's first impression. Haikal may look vain and he likes complementing himself. To Haikal, he is good at everything. But Haikal doesn't look down on other people. And likes doing charities and helping those who are in need. So if you say Haikal is arrogant, think again...
Haikal is also portrayed as a caring, romantic, and loving hero. There are many swoon-worthy things he does for Maya in the story. But I'm not going to share them here. You guys need to read Saranghaeyo Namsan if you're curious. Hehehe... those things will definitely melt your heart ^_^
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Haikal is portrayed as a devilishly sexy AF gorgeous hunk. Haikal is blessed with perfect and stunning visuals. I describe him as an Asian Adonis. Hahaha ^_^ He is masculine and 6 feet 1 inches tall. Haikal has Asian skin, black hair, and dark-coffee eyes. He is also a very well-dressed man. Haikal is elegant and loves preppy fashion. He likes wearing modest color polo Ts, khaki pants, denim jeans, and cardigans. Grey, navy, and maroon are his favorite colors.
Haikal Kim is modeled after Korean-Canadian actor Ahn Hyo Seop. Before I started writing Saranghaeyo Namsan, I watched Business Proposal~ a 2022 K-drama series. In Business Proposal, Ahn Hyo Seop played the male lead, Kang Taemu. Ahn Hyo Seop played the character so well. His performance in the drama mesmerizes me. So I chose to model Haikal Kim after him. Plus, Ahn Hyo Seop has that alpha male 2.0 aura in him. So he is the perfect inspiration for Haikal Kim ^_^
HIS BACKSTORY
Haikal Kim comes from a wealthy family and he has a good childhood. Both of his parents are successful entrepreneurs. He is the eldest child of three siblings. Haikal is the fourth generation of the Kim family who was born as a Muslim. And he practices Islam well. Syukur alhamdulillah.
Even though Haikal has a good life, he still faces ups and downs. Haikal once got his heart broken because of love. This experience makes Haikal choose to focus more on his career. When Maya enters his life, Haikal starts to believe in love again. But, he decides to move slowly this time. To Haikal, love needs time to grow. Love is something you can't rush. Haikal also believes that Maya needs time and space as well. But Haikal will still make his move. Haikal has his own strategy...
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER
Haikal Kim is one of the best heroes I've ever written. I enjoyed crafting this character. He is an absolutely charming hero. In fact, he's my favorite ^_^
As an author of swoon-worthy romance, I created Haikal Kim as every woman's dream guy. He's an alpha male with a bold personality, confidence, and a good career. He has visions and dreams. And he is not afraid to go for what he wants including his dream woman. Hehehe ^_^
Haikal is an honest person. He says whatever he wants to say and has to say. He hates lies and dishonesty. And like my previous heroes, Haikal also strongly believes in integrity.
As a creator of Haikal Kim, I hope this character will win many readers' hearts with his charm. I am grateful that most readers said they like Emil Muhayat, Wilson Cho, and Demian Wong. Syukur alhamdulillah. Thank you for your support, guys ^_^ Since you like my previous heroes, you will like Haikal Kim too. May Haikal swoon your heart. Insya-Allah ^_^

Okay, this is all I want to share about Haikal Kim. Saranghaeyo Namsan will be released on the 16th of May 2024. Omg! It's next week! This means Haikal Kim will be available for you to grab soon. Weeeee!!!! I'm feeling nervous yet excited. I hope Saranghaeyo Namsan will receive loads of love. Aamiin. The novel will be selling at RM35.00 per book. So stay tuned, guys. Hehehe ^_^
