IU AS SEVEN BOOK BEAUTIES
South Korea's sweetheart, IU will be back on small screens so-soon. I'm sure my fellow UAENAs are excited about IU's comeback. Yay!!! Her new drama is titled When Life Gives You Tangerines. Her leading guy in the drama is Park BoGum. Omg! I'm so excited for their chemistry! When Life Gives You Tangerines will be on Netflix starting on the 7th of March 2025. Omg! It's this Thursday!
In today's entry, I will share a cool post about IU. This post is special for my fellow UAENAs and bookworms. Fan-casting your favorite celebrities as the characters in the books you read is one of the best ways to boost your reading mood. Yep, I love fan-casting my favorite celebrities as my favorite book characters. It helps me to boost my reading mood. And IU is one of the celebrities I love fan-casting as my favorite book characters. So in this post, I will share a list of book characters that I imagined as IU while reading the book. Now let's not waste time and begin...
#1 AMERLIND (PENGANTIN SEORANG VAMPIRE)
Amerlind is the female lead created by Sheisbell for her dark romantasy novel, Pengantin Seorang Vampire (PSV). Amerlind is a sassy yet innocent and naive human girl who is chosen to become Sir Armand’s bride. Sir Armand is the male lead and a vampire king. Amerlind is a free-spirited and open-minded kind of person. Amerlind always dreams of living the life of a fairytale princess. The author describes Amerlind as a pretty and petite girl with fair skin. I believe IU is perfect for the role. Like Amerlind, IU is also sassy, pretty, petite, and has fair skin. I definitely saw IU as Amerlind when I was reading this novel. Oh ya, and I fan-casted Remy Hii as Sir Armand ^_^

#2 TENGKU HANNAH THALIA/PRINCESS HAZEL (THE RUNAWAY PRINCESS)
Tengku Hanna Thalia (a.k.a Princess Hazel) is the female lead in The Runaway Princess. The Runaway Princess is a fantasy novel written by Malaysian author, Dynna Zain. Princess Hazel is a magical princess and extremely beautiful. She looks like a flower but stings like a bee. The author describes Princess Hazel as a woman with a petite figure and fair skin. So I believe IU is the best actress to play Princess Hazel. Btw, I fan-casted Chris Hemsworth as her leading man, Ethan Hazrath. Hehehe ^_^

#3 NAIRA NAIN (LELAKI KIRIMAN TUHAN)
Lelaki Kiriman Tuhan (LKT) is a romance novel written by one of Malaysia's bestselling novelists, Umie Nadzimah. The female lead in the story is Naira Nain. Naira is a somber and bitter young woman who is in trouble of debt. Well, it is all because of her irresponsible and drug-addicted brother, Mirza. At the beginning of the story, Naira is always chased by debt collectors. This situation makes Naira unhappy and cold-hearted. She hardly smiles and most of her workers are scared of her.
IU did an outstanding job when she played Lee Ji An in My Mister (a 2018 South Korean drama). Like Naira, Lee Ji An is also a bitter and somber character. I believe IU will do another outstanding job if she plays Naira Nain in Lelaki Kiriman Tuhan. Hehehe ^_^ Well, LKT had been adapted into a drama series back in 2018. Oh... it was two years before I read the novel :P Mira Filzah was the actress who played Naira in the drama. I'm not a fan of Mira Filzah. So I imagined IU as Naira while reading the novel. Hehehe ^_^

#4 MIYA ADEENA (AKAD DUA HATI)
Akad Dua Hati is a Bahasa Malaysia romance novel written by Zan Zarida. Miya Adeena is the female lead in the story. Miya is a very pretty character. She's also sweet yet strong. When the author first introduced Miya's character in the story, IU's beautiful face immediately popped into my mind. And yes, I imagined IU as Miya while reading the story from the beginning till the end. I believe IU is the best actress for this role.

#5 VIVIAN LAU (KING OF WRATH)
Vivian Lau is a famous book beauty among all bookworms, especially Ana Huang fans. Yep, she's the female lead in Ana Huang's King Of Wrath (KOW). KOW is the first book in Ana Huang's Kings Of Sin series. Vivian is a jewelry heiress. She's beautiful, sassy, quick-witted, elegant, and very stylish. When I read KOW, IU's image as Jang Man Weol in Hotel Del Luna pops into my mind. Like Vivian, Jang Man Weol is also a fashionista. So I believe IU is the best actress to be fan-casted as Vivian Lau. Plus, I miss seeing IU playing a fashionista. Hehehe ^_^

#6 MORGAN LEE (DREAMLAND)
Morgan Lee is a character created by Nicholas Sparks for one of his bestselling novels, Dreamland. Morgan Lee is the female lead in Dreamland. Morgan has a strong passion for music. She dreams of becoming a singer and songwriter. And she is determined to move to Nashville to chase her dreams. Morgan is a go-getter character. She has zest and enthusiasm. She's one of the best book beauties an author has created. Plus, Morgan is also kind-hearted and not judgemental. Well, Nicholas Sparks always writes good female leads for his stories ^_^
While reading Dreamland, I imagined IU as Morgan Lee. Like Morgan, IU is also an Asian, musician, singer, and songwriter. Plus, both have petite figures. If Dreamland is going to be adapted into a movie someday, I hope IU will be selected to play Morgan Lee. She's perfect for the role.

#7 DAHLIA JAMILAH (FAIL MERAH)
Dahlia Jamilah is a very special character for me. Hehehe... of course lah... I created her ^_^ Yep, Dahlia Jamilah is the female lead in my first novel, Fail Merah. Dahlia is modeled after IU. This character is more than just a beauty. She is artistic, creative, imaginative, smart, quick-witted, kind-hearted, polite, and not judgemental. Dahlia is the kind of girl who always sees good things in all situations. She's also a big fan of fairytales and always believes in good things. Her unconditional love for Emil Muhayat (the male lead) gives him epiphany and homecoming.
